At Floyd A. Megee Motor Company, we've been in the automotive business for a long time, and we've seen a lot of models come and go, so we've gotten pretty good at spotting a good thing when it arrives. We think very highly of both of the newest versions of two of our old favorites - the 2019 Ram 1500 and the 2019 Jeep Wrangler.

But, sometimes it's nice to hear we're right in our assumption that we carry the best trucks and SUVs around. Sometimes it's good to get back up from the experts.

Motor Trend magazine is a well-respected and renowned publication written by automotive experts, and every year they dish out a handful of awards to the models they think represent the best of the best for that year. This year, they've decided that both of our favorite, 2019 models are their favorites as well.

The 2019 Ram 1500 - "Truck of the Year"

Drivers who know trucks know the Ram 1500. High-quality interiors, a unique spring rear suspension, and rugged utility have always combined to produce one of the most popular trucks on Delaware roads. For 2019, the Ram 1500 underwent a series of changes. It lost a little weight, thanks to a new design and construction, and it became more powerful than ever in the process. Now, it's been officially declared the best truck of the year, thanks to the folks at Motor Trend.

The 2019 Jeep Wrangler - "SUV of the Year"

The one and only. The legendary convertible SUV adventurous drivers have adored for decades. The Jeep Wrangler doesn't undergo major revisions or changes very often, and when it does it becomes big news, as with the newly-released new generation that we have available now. With more comfort and features than ever, plus a new powertrain option under the hood, the Jeep Wrangler is the best SUV of the year. Just ask Motor Trend.
