The 8th annual Dewey Goes Pink 5K was held earlier this month and Floyd A. Megee was proud to once again be there to support and sponsor this great community event.

A cause near and dear to our hearts, we look forward to this breast cancer awareness fundraising event all year long. This year, proceeds from the 5K run, or 1.5-mile walk for the non-runners in the crowd, raised around $100,000.

In fact, just here at Floyd A. Megee Motor Company alone, we're excited to say that our employees were instrumental in raising $10,000 of those funds this year.

If you were at this year's event, you may also have noticed our special Jeep Wrangler emblazoned with the "Dewey Goes Pink" logo acting as the pace vehicle for the run.

Created by two friends in honor of their mothers, one who is a breast cancer survivors and the other who passed away from the disease after a 25-year battle, this incredible event gets bigger and better every year, and we are proud to be a part of it.
