Meet the All New Chrysler Town & Country

Say Goodbye to the the Town & Country and Meet the New 2017 Chrysler Pacifica

The Chrysler Pacifica is Not Your Parent's Minivan

Chrysler's staple minivan, also known as the Town & Country, has long provided the functionality that families needed in a family-friendly vehicle. While it was a good run, the 2017 Pacifica recently replaced Chrysler's Town & Country - and it's most definitely not your parent's minivan.

Learn about the Differences between the Pacifica and the Town & Country

While existing Town & Country models may be a satisfactory option for drivers, there are several differences between the Pacifica and Town & Country that anyone considering a new minivan should consider before making their investment.

How Does the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica Compare to the Town & Country?

In-cabin amenities and features: One of the key differences between the two minivans is in regard to interior features. While the Town & Country offers a number of advanced features including an available dual-DVD/Blu-ray player system, sound system and Bluetooth compatibility, the Pacifica sets a new standard in the minivan market with the new Uconnect Theater, complete with dual-screen entertainment, device compatibility and built-in games and apps. It also features available leather-trimmed seating, available built-in vacuum and panoramic sunroof. With features such as these, it's no wonder the Pacifica made the WardsAuto 10 Best Interiors List for 2016.

Advanced Safety: The Chrysler Town & Country is built with seven standard airbags and a strong steel frame; the Pacifica builds onto those features with a rearview camera and driver-assistive technologies - such as Forward Collision Warning Plus - to make you feel completely confident. In fact, the Pacifica boasts more than 100 standard and available safety and security features.

Powertrain: The Pacifica offers the choice of either a hybrid and gasoline powertrain. The hybrid variant is so efficient, it boasts an EPA-estimated 84 mpg-e. While the Town & Country is outfitted with a 3.6-liter V6 engine that outputs 283 horsepower, it does not offer a hybrid variant.
